Scientists from Brno have discovered... How to get the science from BUT into the media

"Nothing in science has any social value if it is not communicated," says American psychologist Anne Roe. You can have great research that one day will help save lives, speed up traffic or provide cheaper energy for people all around the world. But if it is not known, such work remains only "in a drawer", from which, unfortunately, does not help the public much. Do you work on an interesting project? Are you waiting for the TV crew and you don't know what to expect? Do you have to popularize science, for example at Scientists' Night, and you are wondering how to present your research in an understandable way to children? Get inspired in the new brochure that BUT has published for its employees. Scientists from Brno have discovered... this is not only the beginning of a series of newspaper headlines, but also the name of a new media guide, which briefly and clearly presents the journey of scientific topics from Brno University of Technology to the media. The material can be downloaded HERE. And the next step? Well, write to media@vut.cz and send a tip about your work or the work of your colleagues in a few sentences. Thank you for helping the science communication.
