Equal Opportunities and Social Safety
The BUT focuses on strengthening perceptions of Social Safety and Equal Opportunities throughout its academic and non-academic community.
In the first phase (April-June 2022), the current state of the issue was mapped out. The next stage recommendations will be formulated training for individual staff groups will be proposed the correct perception of the topic will be promoted.
Diversity reflects the fact that people differ from each other on many things. Understanding, valuing and effectively exploiting these differences can lead to greater engagement and success on an individual, team and organisational level.
The document will also help us to strengthen the perception of Equal Opportunities: Gender Equality Plan of the BUT 2022-2024. The individual objectives described therein were communicated with the management of the BUT as well as with the management of the F/U. In the field of Social Safety, The BUT is involved with 25 other universities/institutions from the Czech Republic in the Centralized Development Project (CRP18+) of Social Safety in Czech Universities in the Context of Academic Ethics.
